In this volunteer position, you will play an integral role in the support of a pair of artists’ booth display and sales at Market. You will be assigned to assist two artist booths, and your support will look different depending on the types and how much support each artist will need. Volunteers in this role will be responsible for:
- Cover for artists as needed when breaks for food or the bathroom are needed
- Help maintain the clean and organized appearance of the booth, like helping an artist move around products and resupply, folding garments, or grabbing an extra display case or mannequin for them
- Sometimes you may be asked to support the Market in selling the artists’ work by confirming details with the Cashier Volunteers. Depending on the artist(s)’ product, you may be asked to handle a piece of art or assist with packing the item with the artist
- Make supply runs coordinating with other teams like Handyman or Booth Supplies team as needed
