IFAM will be hosting a Folk Art Matters event and Pop-Up on November 10 - 11, 2023 for master artist duo Florencia Espinal Ramirez and Vincente Castillo! Volunteers who would like to support this event may choose the role(s) below that best suit their talents and skills. The interpreter role will include supporting the artist in communicating with guests at the table during their pop-up, translating questions from guests back to the artist to respond to, and facilitating communication between the artist and volunteer(s) supporting their exhibit. If you sign up for the interpreter shift on November 11 please be aware that your shift will be in support of the workshop portion of this pop-up.
