This shift takes place on the first day of artist booth set up. Artist Assistant volunteers will assist as artists transport their artwork to their booths, inventory their products, organize their booth supplies and rental items, and begin setting up merchandise displays.
TEAM NOTE: Each artist has unique needs; volunteers should do their best to support those needs. Some volunteers may be asked to walk and carry items to and from artists booths. Volunteers should be able to stand for long periods of time. Volunteers are NOT required to have any foreign language skills, but beginner/conversational level language skills may be helpful.
SCHEDULING NOTE: Since this is the first shift of booth set up, volunteers will be asked to meet artists at the load in areas near the two Market entrances instead of at the booths so that they can assist artists as they transport their artwork to their booths.
