Are you ready to play a vital role in transforming artists' lives and ensuring the success of our Market? Join us as a Cashier Volunteer and become an essential link between artists and their patrons.

This year's Market relies on cashiers as key players in facilitating sales and supporting artists. As a friendly cashier, you'll be equipped with our handheld Poynt system to seamlessly process transactions right from the artists' booths. Cashiers will be assigned to support several artist booths in a designated area, volunteers will have access to a table, chairs, and an umbrella for the duration of their shift.

Your welcoming demeanor and efficient service will not only enhance the shopping experience for market-goers but also directly contribute to the success and livelihoods of our talented artists. Step into this impactful role and make a difference at the heart of IFAM's mission.

*One mandatory in-person training is required for all Poynt Cashiers. Information on the training schedule and sign-up will be posted June. If you cannot attend the in-person training or would like a refresher before training check out our cashier training video here: IFAM Cashier Training. 

• Help guests have a quick and comfortable experience purchasing art from the booth exhibits.
• Communicate with artists and assistants regarding pricing and itemizing what products are being purchased.
• Keep in regular communication with the Pit Boss in your area for troubleshooting needs and additional cashier support.

TEAM NOTES: Volunteers will be seated for the duration of their shift. Age requirement for this team is 18+
