IFAM Mercado Sales

We believe everyone should be able to leave Market with a new item they are excited about! IFAM Mercado Volunteers assist with the set-up and selling of IFAM merchandise (T-shirts, hats, water bottles, etc.). 

• Facilitate the sales of items from the IFAM Mercado booth by working with guests to find a product for them.
• Utilize the hand-held point of sales device (POYNT) to process the sales in the Mercado Booth.
• Package purchases securely for guests.

TEAM NOTE: In addition to volunteering in the Mercado booth during the Market, there will be setup shifts on Wednesday and Thursday where volunteers will be responsible for setting up the Mercado items in the booth. There is also a pack up shift on Sunday afternoon. Volunteers will be responsible for cleaning, packing up and counting all remaining Mercado inventory.

All team members are required to attend a cashier training to learn how to use the Poynt device prior to the Market.
