We're looking for experienced Artist Assistant volunteers to help as booth sitters during Artist Demonstrations. Over the course of the Market, some artists will lead 1 hour long demonstrations at the Artist Demo Circle. During these times, we are in need of Artist Assistant volunteers who can help staff the artist's booth and make sales. Volunteers who are familiar with the specific artistic tradition represented would make a great fit for this role. When possible, we have scheduled booth-sitting shifts to begin before Artist Demonstrations so that Artist Assistant volunteers can get to know the artist and familiarize themselves with the booth and products.

Friday, July 11th:
- 11AM - 12PM: Babaran Segaragunung Culture House; Batik demonstration: Drawing and hand stamping with molten wax.
- 1PM - 2PM: Siju Shamji Vishram; Kutch hand weaving technique crafted through an intricate extra weft pattern.
- 3PM - 4PM: Cirila Aragón Cortés; Morelos poncho dyeing demonstration with natural pigments.
Saturday, July 12th:
- 11AM - 12PM: Lily Sandoval | Chonon Biri; Ceramics demonstration.
- 1PM - 2PM: Juana Gomez Ramirez; Handbuilding demonstration of the jaguar from Amatenango del Valle, Chiapas.
- 3PM - 4PM: Artemio Poma Gutierrez; Traditional Quinoa pottery techniques using glazes of natural pigments.
Sunday, July 13th:
- 11AM - 12PM: KwaZulu-Natal Weavers; Zulu weaving approaches to copper wire baskets.
- 1PM - 2PM: Esteban Silva | Taller de Papel DeLirio; Artisanal paper making techniques in Nahuatl made with corn, water lily and black wasp honeycomb.
