Airport Greeters

Help us make a positive impression with our incoming artists! We need energetic, helpful folks to join us at the Albuquerque Sunport and welcome and orient first-time IFAM artists as they arrive in New Mexico.

Please note that flights may be delayed or changed, so flexibility and communication with the IFAM staff is vital! As flights are booked in early June, these volunteer shifts may be updated to reflect artist travel itineraries. IFAM Staff will help communicate any schedule updates to the team. 

These volunteer shifts are completed prior to the beginning of Market, so team members may choose to volunteer on other teams for additional shifts at the Market itself. 

• Airport Greeters are the first to welcome artists at the Albuquerque Sunport and the Santa Fe Airport in early July.
• Help collect luggage and assist artists in finding their shuttle.
• Answer FAQ's from artists, have IFAM signs so artists can find you, and contact the shuttle service in case any delays occur. You will be equipped with a list of FAQ's from artists, IFAM signs, and the shuttle service contact information.

TEAM NOTE: In 2026, we are listing opportunities to greet artists at the ABQ Sunport (2200 Sunport Blvd, Albuquerque, NM 87106) as well as the Santa Fe Airport (121 Aviation Dr, Santa Fe, NM 87507). Volunteers will need to provide their own transportation to either location.
