Stewards of Ecology

This group is perfect for volunteers who care about maintaining the beauty of nature. Stewards of Ecology volunteers are dedicated to preserving the beautiful, fragile ecosystem of flora the Railyard has been working to nurture including flowers, trees, and grass indigenous to New Mexico. If you care about keeping the Railyard park pristine so all can benefit from its beauty, this role is for you!

• Direct the flow of visitors away from delicate grass and flowers
• Educate visitors of the plant life thriving in the Railyard park
• Set up or carry signs reminding visitors to be kind to the environment

Team Notes: This team will receive training from the Railyard Conservancy before Market on the flora and fauna located within Railyard Park and the importance of protecting/respecting the beautiful venue for all to enjoy. Volunteers for this team walk around the outer garden and playground areas only and do not enter the Market during their shifts.
