The Market closes at 4pm and artists begin packing up their work then. It is incredibly vital to have volunteer support as artists pack up their artwork and transfer it to the shuttle to the Sage Hotel. Please consider helping Sunday afternoon!

Assist artists in appropriately protecting and storing unsold artwork and personal items used inside their Market booth. Assist artists in cleaning booth, ensuring all trash is thrown away.
TEAM NOTE: Artist Assistant volunteers are NOT required to have any foreign language skills, but beginner/conversational level language skills may be helpful.

Facilitate the sales of items from the IFAM Mercado booth by working with guests to find a product for them. Utilize the hand-help point of sales device (POYNT) to process the sales in the Mercado Booth. Package purchases securely for guests.

Scheduling note: The final shift is a pack up shift. Volunteers will be responsible for packing up and counting all remaining Mercado inventory.

This team helps manage and distribute the complimentary supplies provided by IFAM for artist, staff, and crew use during the Market. Booth Supplies volunteers assist at the Booth Supplies station during booth set-up and the Market. Volunteers are not responsible for delivering booth rental equipment such as tables, dress forms, and mirrors. Instead, the Booth Supplies team staffs the Booth Supplies station to help hand out supplies such as garbage bags, price tags, and pens as requested by artists and their assistants, IFAM Staff, and the Production Crew. Team members should be comfortable lifting up to 20lbs.

Keep in mind: Dress for the weather, with your volunteer t-shirt, comfortable shoes (for walking in the dirt), sunscreen, a hat and a jacket (in case of inclement weather -- which won't happen if you have a jacket!).

Scheduling note: The Market closes at 4pm and clean up begins. Volunteers on this team will be asked to collect and organize booth supplies after the Market ends.

Volunteers on these shifts will work alongside Decor Volunteer Chairs and IFAM Production Crew to assist in installing decor items throughout the Market venue. This shift may require volunteers to use basic tools, step on ladders, and walk throughout the Market venue.

Scheduling Note: The shift on Thursday, July 9th occurs during artist booth setup. Volunteers will be responsible for installing decor. The shift on Sunday, July occurs during Market Breakdown. Volunteers will be responsible for cleaning up decor.

Volunteers on these shifts will work alongside Decor Volunteer Chairs and IFAM Production Crew to assist in installing decor items throughout the Market venue. This shift may require volunteers to use basic tools, step on ladders, and walk throughout the Market venue.

Volunteer: Booth Supplies After-Market Clean-Up: Monday July 13, 2026

Join us as we work in Warehouse 21 to help the production team clean up the Railyard as well as get our supplies sorted and ready to return to the IFAM Warehouse.

While the bulk of the work will be in the air-conditioned Warehouse 21, some of us will also be in the market footprint collecting booth supplies and tablecloths.  Plan to wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes and come prepared with hats and sunscreen for outdoor work.  There will be no snacks or water, so bring what you may need.

Join us as we work in Warehouse 21 to help the production team clean up the Railyard as well as get our supplies sorted and ready to return to the IFAM Warehouse.
